When selecting the jeans to customize:
-I recommend choosing jeans that are slightly too tight in the thigh area, as they will fit more comfortably once the quilted portion has been added.
-Keep in mind that the quilted panels add about 12” at the widest point. The tighter the legs are initially, the less flared they will be after customization.
-The waist size will remain the same as before customization.
-Please send clean jeans in good condition. Excessive wear, holes, or damage near the seams may affect the quality of the customization, also consider very thin or stretchy denim may not hold the quilted panels as securely.
3. Customization Process
I will begin working on your jeans once I receive them, following the color scheme and block patterns you selected.
This process typically takes 3–4 weeks from the date I receive your jeans in the mail, although it is often completed sooner depending on my workload.
Rush orders may be available for an additional fee—please add this request to the form when checking out
4. Return Shipping
Once your jeans are finished, I will ship them back to you—customized to your liking.
-
Once I’ve received your jeans, I will carefully seam rip up the sides and serge the raw edges. I’ll then measure and cut the lining for the quilted panels based on the height of your jeans. From there, I’ll select fabrics that match your chosen color scheme.
Next, I’ll cut and piece the fabrics together to create the quilt blocks of your choice. I’ll arrange the blocks and fill in any gaps with complementary designs to create a cohesive panel. After the design process is complete, I’ll serge and topstitch the panel together with the lining.
At this point, I’ll sew the panels into the jeans, press out any bends, and package your personalized jeans so they can be on their way back home to you.
-
When you receive your jeans, you can wear them as normal—just expect them to fit looser in the thigh area.
For care, wash on a gentle cycle and air dry if possible to extend their longevity. An occasional delicate cycle in the dryer should not damage the quilted panels. However, if your jeans have specific washing instructions from the manufacturer, please follow those first.
Avoid bleach, as it can damage both the denim and the quilted fabrics.
If ironing, press from the inside or use a pressing cloth to protect the quilted fabric.
